TOGETHER WE ARE RANGERSTOWN
"Together We Are RangersTown" is the campaign we created for the 90th season. We wanted to show how everyone with the New York Rangers plays a unique role; not just the players and coaches, but the fans too.
We developed a full campaign for TV, :15 sec fan videos, OOH, digital, tickets, snapchat filters, tshirts, stickers, illustrations (by www.zacharykiernan.com), photography and everything inbetween.
Optimum wanted to show their customers how simple it is to use all the different features and services they offer. So, we created the (fictional) Optimum Department of Simple where the best and brightest minds* come up with simple ideas for Optimum customers. So far we created 20ish spots in the campaign. Here are a couple favorites.
*except Marvin. But we all love Marvin.
NHL STANLEY CUP PLAYOFFS
With the Stanley Cup playoffs approaching, we asked Nick Kroll to help us advertise it. He had... other plans.

Have you ever wondered what’s in a hot dog? Sure you have.
Applegate's "cleaner weiner" offers a much healthier choice without steroids, growth hormones, antibiotics, and chemical preservatives.
The first round of Applegate ads featured moms interviewing the cows that hot dog meat comes from. Continuing this campaign, Dan and I developed some new cow characters and brought them to the grocery store.
I've stopped eating hot dogs since.

Some weeks before the presidential election we created a website that helped you find a new country (including a one way ticket link with flight searchs!) in case Trump won and you wanted to leave the country. Anyways, the site is still up in case you need to find a Trumpocalypse escape in the next four years.
CANDLES FOR THE AD WORLD
We all know the trials we face in advertising: absurd client feedback, endless "quick turnarounds", planners taking three weeks on a single brief... the list goes on. So to cope, we invented Not-A-Prayer Candles. Light one and pray for mercy. It may be hopeless, but it is kinda fun.
PREMIER LEAGUE ON NBC SPORTS
NBC's Premier League coverage is brilliantly, authentically British. To get Americans into it, we created Speak Football--an online guide to UK football culture.
The site featured team profile videos, a glossary of Britishisms (with pronunciations), sing-along chants for each club, a tweet translator, and a terminology quiz that scored your fluency.
We also partnered with Uber to make a special Mini "Club Car" for each team. They'd take you to soccer pubs for free on opening day of the season. Inside each was a mini Speak Football quiz to win a trip abroad to see a match.
To further promote the Speak Football site, we created some TV ads, posters, and special football pub swag.

Optimum Online customers get access to Optimum WiFi: a network of over 1 million hotspots. But the incredible thing is, Optimum keeps delivering more.
CAMPAIGN / VISUAL IDENTITY
For the 2016 Major League Soccer season, we created the "Stand as One" campaign featuring a strong new visual identity. It needed to be bold and graphically adaptable across teams and media.
I also developed the new MLS Soccer Sundays logo to establish the Sunday slate of games as a viewing event.

@sweetworkouts is an instagram account that combines some of my favorite things: collage, vintage photos, sweets, fitness (I guess), and more sweets. (Check out my account @sweetworkouts on Instagram)

Channelyze Me is a Facebook app we made for Optimum. It reads your Facebook info and creates a custom channel with new shows you may like based of your personality. You could also take a quiz if you are creeped out about privacy and all those things.
I got the Smooth Criminal. No worries, I am harmless, I can’t even kill a bug.
AD COUNCIL & AARP
AARP partnered with Ad council for this PSA to help caregivers. We wanted to capture a day in a life of those people who play so many roles while taking care of their aging loved ones. It was such a great opportunity working in this project for a good cause.
When Dan and I got married, we designed our wedding with a royal-ish spin to commemorate the union of two families and countries. We created a crest to represent the two of us, including the mythical Bull-Eagle (a creature equal parts Spanish bull and American eagle).
We created everything by hand: invitations, flags, (chocolate) coins bearing out likenesses, temporary tattoos, "official" commendations for thank you cards and much more.
The best people to help small businesses are other small businesses. We put together this 360 campaign featuring fellow owners sharing their tips for success. The idea was to position Optimum not just as a business internet provider, but a business resource center. Plus we wanted to work with puppies.
WHOLE FOODS MARKET
Whole Foods wanted people to know about their meat section's Animal Welfare Ratings. Yep, that's a thing. So we made this online video to help explain them and have fun talking about animals, death, eating dead animals… all those things.

The Conquistadors had a great idea to return all their nice emails from people they worked with all around the world. I helped them to turn those words into some cool tshirts. There were like 70 total and I designed over half of them. Here you can find a hint of the typography/design.
Freewheel is an all-WiFi phone which includes unlimited data, talk and text. Which means you could watch unlimited cat videos!
